Why does it matter?
When machining on this type of machine, chip production is enormous! Here, we're handling 1,250 kg/h of aluminium chips which represents 6,000 L/h! Without a proper chip management system, production can be severely impacted.
In partnership with our customer, we designed a system that eliminates all issues related to chip handling. Our line integrates two 15-metre screw conveyors around the machining table, a chip shredder, and then the chips are extracted via a chip suction system combined with a chip pneumatic conveyor.
This chip management line enables you to:
✅ Continuously evacuate chips using two screw conveyors installed under the machine tool.
✅ Shred and extract chips directly at the source via our chip extraction system.
✅ Separate and concentrate the processed chips in a cyclone, ready for recycling or briquetting.
✅ Drastically reduce manual handling and production downtime related to chip management.
